Hello, CAOD! It's been a while! I must admit that your 'log in/log out or wait 5 minutes' posting mechanic has mostly left this place a barren wasteland, with all the posting save for a couple of desperate no-name alts moving to Kugu or SHC. But those desperate no-name alts are mostly from IT Alliance, so I figure I ought to post this here for them to enjoy!

You're sitting here asking why the ceo's aren't stepping up. I'll tell you exactly why. Its because at least half the corporations are actively questioning their involvement in the alliance at this moment. I really can't blame them either as an alliance where people are allowed and i think sometimes encouraged to behave in such disgraceful ways as we've seen recently is not really an alliance that most would be proud to be a part of.

My diplomacy right now will go so far as not naming names as tbh i don't really have to and it wouldn't help. But atm the thought of doing a ton of work for an alliance where the only thing i seem to be these days is a target for the frustrations the high, mighty and horribly obnoxious fc's doesn't particularly fill my heart with joy and i'm sure thats the same with many people. Go read back what happened with rkk the other week then go read the logs mitch posted and what mo posted. Then you come back here and ask again why we can't be arsed to do all that.

You're all gonna go on about peoples conduct and mutual respect and all that bull****. Its nothing to do with that. Its all about basic manners and knowing how to work with other people. Apparently because this is the internet treating people like their something that you've just trodden on is the way to get things done. Its ingrained and encouraged by its lack of rebuke, and tacit approval. Really i've worked with some lads and hated their guts, but if they asked me nicely i'd still step up and help them out. Simply because they asked nicely.

Now i don't expect pleases and thank you's to flow through our channels but i would like to think we can do things without the mud slinging, fighting, undermining and other Byzantine politics that we've become accustomed to over the last year. Cause otherwise we'll have killed ourselves long long before anyone else comes along to do it.

He told us what they pay him to do his TTH articles at a DC fleetmeet. It's not Dave Barry money but it's p obscene for a per-word basis given he posts like one every month and a half, just sayin'.

So - he gets paid to lazily call people awful on an internet sounding board, while you, seriously-I'm-totally-not-Bismaru, and Snotty do it ad nauseam for free. Personally though I think he should get Endie to ghost-write for him and split the profits.

Windy, if your sportscar uses Diesel it's not worth driving, because the mpg is so **** and owing to the fact that diesel is about 5p more expensive than petrol at my local JET station and 4p at the Morrisons up the road it's not good sense in this economic climate. 'Being Economical' may seem antithetical to buying a sportscar, yes, but there's no need to waste even more cash you might say.

I shop at Tesco, and dip into one of Scandinavian supermarkets such as Aldi and Lidl/Netto for cheap stuff. Stuff like Salami and cheap-ish brand products. Usually go to Tesco/Morrisons for Petrol though. Morrisons is situated in a great place for going to get Petrol if you forgot to fill up before you drove out. They also have some decent deals from time to time, but I don't make it a point to shop there. Also 40 mpg is actually better than I expected... What make is it?
